This free program is made by Sun Microsystems, who are the developers of Java scripting. This is a comprehensive office suite. Microsoft Word documents are standard e-mail communications, but Microsoft Office is expensive. With this program you can open all of Microsoft Office documents which include: Word documents ending in the file extension ".doc" as well as create them; Excel spreadsheets which end with ".xls" as well as create them; Data base, Graphics program, and Powerpoint. You can even create Adobe Acrobat documents with this program. And it is all free!
